Senior Financial Analyst - Credit & Collections
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85008 (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Direct Hire

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - Credit & Collections for a national organization in the Phoenix area. This role partners with Finance and business leaders to deliver financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and operational insights that improve working capital, support business planning, and drive strategic decision-making.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in financial analysis, FP&A, Credit & Collections, Accounts Receivable, business intelligence, and data analytics who enjoy solving complex business problems and working with leadership.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that improve business performance.
  • Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and management reports that support leadership decision-making.
  • Develop and monitor key performance metrics related to credit, collections, cash flow, and operational performance.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis activities.
  • Partner with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and IT to improve reporting processes and data quality.
  • Create executive-level reporting and present actionable financial insights to business leaders.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate reporting, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Complete special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as business needs evolve.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, Credit &Collections, Accounts Receivable, Business Intelligence, or a related finance function.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, PivotTables, Power Query, and large data analysis.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and financial performance analysis.
  • Background in manufacturing, distribution, construction, industrial services, or another operationally focused environment preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
