EPP Operations & Compliance Manager

Location Frisco, Texas | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $27–$32 per hour
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• W2
 

ROLE IMPACT

The EPP Operations & Compliance Manager ensures the operational integrity, regulatory compliance, and data accuracy of the Educator Preparation Program (EPP). This role drives successful state and federal reporting, maintains certification processes, supports candidate progression from admission through certification, and helps ensure instructional quality through continuous program improvement. Success is measured by audit readiness, compliance accuracy, reporting timeliness, and effective management of program systems and documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead state and federal reporting activities, including ASEP and Title II submissions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all deadlines.
• Manage candidate certification processes, testing approvals, admissions tracking, and compliance documentation throughout the candidate lifecycle.
• Maintain and audit records within ECOS, ASEP, Canvas LMS, and related systems to ensure data integrity and audit readiness.
• Coordinate updates to coursework, program materials, and operational processes based on changes to TEA, SBEC, TAC, TEC, and TEKS requirements.
• Develop executive reports, monitor program performance metrics, and support training events, field-based experiences, and stakeholder communications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in program operations, compliance, data management, education administration, regulatory reporting, or related functions.
• Experience with TEA/SBEC reporting systems, data auditing, compliance management, learning management systems, or educational program administration.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Manage and maintain Canvas LMS enrollment, course administration, and candidate progress tracking.
• Work primarily in an indoor office environment while supporting program operations, compliance reviews, and training logistics.
• Ability to frequently move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Occasional local and statewide travel may be required.

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Current Texas teaching or principal certification.
• Knowledge of Quality Matters (QM) standards, instructional design principles, and online course quality assurance.
