Base Salary: $48,000 – $52,000
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Onsite | Monday–Friday (8:30–5:30)

About the Role
We’re partnering with a well-established childcare center seeking an Assistant Director who will:
- Support day-to-day center operations and staff leadership
- Partner closely with leadership to learn and grow into a Director role
- Help maintain compliance and operational consistency
- Serve as a key point of contact for families and staff
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee daily operations and support a team of 15–20 staff
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, and general administration
- Communicate with parents and help navigate day-to-day concerns
- Ensure compliance with childcare licensing standards
- Support programs tied to quality ratings and nutrition services
- Step in where needed to keep operations running smoothly
- Build relationships with families and support a strong community environment
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a childcare or early education setting
- Experience supporting or leading staff in a center environment
- Knowledge of licensing, compliance, and classroom operations
- Strong communication skills with both staff and families
Nice to Have
- Assistant Director or leadership experience in a childcare center
- Background in early childhood education
- CDA or Director Certification
- Experience working in diverse community environments
